Ladies, Golf & Marbella…

We lady golfers have the opportunity of enjoying playing golf within a ladies team with the Marbella Ladies Golfing Association.

By way of a brief introduction, the Association has been created as a non-profit making organisation, which aims to bring ladies together here in Marbella, to play golf in different clubs, as well as offering the chance to participate in other activities like Yoga, Bridge, Art Exhibitions and on occasions to dine (lunch or dinner) at various local restaurants and or club houses.  We have already many associates and have enjoyed different games at Rio Real, Cabo Pino, La Cala, Cala Nova, La Reserva, Las Chapas and other clubs.

The cost is just the fee to the green and usually it includes a shared buggy (in some clubs a buggy is not necessary such as at Rio Real) and coffee.  We negotiate special prices according to the season and pass these discounts directly on to you.

Through the association we can influence women’s golf by finding ways to encourage more women to join the sport. 

The Association organizes charity events and the last one took place on 25 November 2007.  This was an Open event for men and women who enjoy the sport and raised over 1,300 Euros in aid of  UNICEF.

We welcome your contribution and help to set up more events and assist other worthy causes or charities.
